From an inspiring Ideas Night in New York with Scott Harrison, to a stunning fashion show in Los Angeles with k o r o v i l a s, to an eye-opening discussion with New York Times–Bestselling author Cass Sunstein in Boston, last week IVY held an array of incredible unique events across the country. We’re all about bringing together top innovators with entrepreneurs, and we’re constantly redefining what it means to make an impact, whether it means building an IVY well in Africa or learning how to make our arguments as persuasive as possible.
IVY Ideas Night with Scott Harrison, Founder of charity: water
Hundreds of IVY members enjoyed an incredibly inspiring talk with Scott in NYC. Less than 10 years after founding this life-changing organization, Scott has provided drinking water to more than 5 million people through 17,370 water projects in 24 countries so far. “For me, charity is practical,” Scott said. “It’s sometimes easy, more often inconvenient, but always necessary. It’s the ability to use one’s position of influence, relative wealth and power to affect lives for the better. Charity is singular and achievable.”
