Do you hear that sound? It’s the sea calling… so set sail with IVY. The summer season may be officially over, but we’re not letting that keep us away from water. Members in Boston will head to the Boston Harbor Sailing Club this week for a Sip ’n Sail and embark on one of three IVY-exclusive sailboats for a lesson and sunset tour of Boston Harbor. (Yes—by all means—we will be bringing drinks on board. The views promise to be stunning.)

Speaking of views, in Chicago, members are heading to Homestead, a radical farm-to-table dining spot, which grows everything from vegetables to fruits and herbs in its 1,000-square-foot organic rooftop garden, two massive vertical hanging gardens, and dozens of planter boxes… YUM!

For the arts-inclined, we have two tours lined up in unique new spaces. In Miami, we’re hitting up PAMM for a taste of the city’s budding art scene. Designed by the world-class Herzog & de Meuron, PAMM serves as a hub for Miami’s crazy diverse culture. And in San Francisco, we’re touring Smash Gallery for an experimental new exhibit called Flesh, Air, and Water, which pairs two extraordinary artists in a radical take on the human condition.

In case you missed our End of Summer Soirée at Mercedes Club last week in New York, don’t fret. We had to postpone due to rain. You still have a chance to master your skills one last time with lawn games, while you sip cool drinks from an open bar and listen to the live music. Can we persuade you to attend?

Maybe you’re curious to know more about persuasion? We are too. Barbara Tannenbaum, epic Brown professor, is heading to New York to give a lecture on how can you maximize your message to offer the most persuasive argument possible.

Finally, we’re closing out the week with a soothing session of sensory yoga in LA. Unite intensive yoga with sensory immersion to unwind and recharge after a long week.
